Question 1

Install fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the Kodak EASYSHARE driver installer as administrator. If it fails on Windows 10/11, retry in compatibility mode for Windows 7/8 and temporarily disable antivirus during setup.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good USB data cable and connect directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. Set the EASYSHARE camera to PC/MTP/PTP mode, then check Device Manager for an unknown device.

Question 3

Version conflicts with older EasyShare software?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous Kodak EASYSHARE software and driver entries via Programs and Features and Device Manager. Restart before installing the current driver.
