Name: Kodak DC3400 Zoom Digital Camera Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The DC3400 uses a legacy unsigned Kodak/TWAIN driver. Run the Kodak installer as administrator in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode; if setup still fails, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement and install the .inf manually through Device Manager.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Set the DC3400 mode dial to PC/Connect, use a known USB data cable directly into a rear USB 2.0 port (not a hub), and install the software before connecting. If Device Manager lists an unknown device, manually point it to the Kodak DC3400 driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak DC3400/TWAIN and EasyShare packages, remove stale camera entries under Imaging devices, reboot, then install one matched DC3400 driver package only.
