Name: Kodak DC260 Digital Camera Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Installer fails on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The DC260’s Kodak/TWAIN software is legacy and often unsigned. Run the installer as administrator in Windows XP compatibility mode, or use an XP/98 virtual machine; do not force-install an unknown driver.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Set the DC260 to PC/Connect mode and connect it directly to a rear USB port (or correct serial COM port), not through a hub. Install the TWAIN driver before opening imaging software, and confirm the cable supports data.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak camera software and conflicting TWAIN drivers first. In Device Manager, remove any stale imaging/unknown device entries, reboot, then install the DC260-specific driver before reconnecting the camera.
