Name: Kodak C743 Digital Camera Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

The Kodak C743’s older EasyShare/driver package may be blocked on modern Windows. Run the installer as administrator, try compatibility mode for an older Windows version, temporarily disable antivirus, and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the C743 is in PC/transfer mode, use a known-good USB data cable (not charge-only), connect directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, and avoid unpowered hubs. Remove the camera in Device Manager, then reinstall the Kodak driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak EasyShare/driver entries and remove the C743 from Device Manager, then reboot and install one C743-compatible package only. Avoid mixing built-in Windows camera drivers with Kodak software.
