Author: Kodak

Question 1

Installer fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Run the Kodak C330 driver/EasyShare setup as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and try Windows compatibility mode for an older Windows version. Confirm the package matches 32-bit or 64-bit Windows; avoid mixing in newer EasyShare versions.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Set the C330 to PC/Connect mode, use a known-good USB cable directly into a rear motherboard port (no hub), and check Device Manager for an Unknown Device. Remove/reinsert the battery, then reconnect.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Kodak/EasyShare software and old camera entries in Device Manager (show hidden devices), reboot, then install one C330-compatible driver. On Windows 10/11, try the built-in USB mass-storage/WIA driver first.
