Name: Kodak 7000 Printer Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Installation fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Kodak 7000, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable third-party antivirus. If setup still fails, clear the print spooler folder (`%systemroot%System32spoolPRINTERS`) and retry.

Question 2

Printer not detected on USB or network?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port instead of a hub, try another cable, and confirm the Kodak 7000 is on the same subnet for Ethernet/Wi-Fi. Restart the Print Spooler service, then add the printer manually via Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts or repeated prompts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Kodak 7000 entries in Print Management and uninstall old Kodak drivers, then reboot before installing the latest Windows driver. Avoid mixing 32-bit and 64-bit driver packages.
