Name: Kobian PI845GLM Driver
Author: Kobian

Question 1

Installer fails or reports unsupported OS?

Accepted Answer

The PI845GLM’s Intel 845GL chipset drivers are old. Run setup as administrator, try Windows XP compatibility mode, or update manually via Device Manager using the extracted `.inf` files.

Question 2

Onboard graphics/audio/LAN not detected?

Accepted Answer

Install the Intel Chipset INF first, enable onboard devices in BIOS, then rescan hardware in Device Manager. Check for unknown devices before installing VGA/audio/LAN drivers.

Question 3

Version conflicts or blue screens after driver update?

Accepted Answer

Remove/roll back the previous Intel display driver in Device Manager, reboot, and install the exact Kobian/Intel 845GL package. Do not use drivers for newer 865/915 chipsets.
