Author: Kaiser Baas

Question 1

Install fails or screen stays blank?

Accepted Answer

Run the DisplayLink/USB graphics installer as administrator, leave the KBA03001/KBA03002/KBA03003 adapter unplugged until prompted, then reboot. Confirm the USB Display service is running.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a USB 2.0 port, not a hub; try a known-good cable. In Device Manager, check for an unknown/USB Display device and reinstall the driver if it shows an error.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any older Kaiser Baas/DisplayLink USB graphics driver first, reboot, then install the current package. Avoid mixing it with another USB display driver or leaving duplicate driver entries.
