Question 1

Install fails or is blocked?

Accepted Answer

The virtual adapter driver may be unsigned/incompatible with your Windows build. Run the Juniper installer as administrator, use the vendor-signed package for your OS, and remove stale Juniper/Pulse adapters in Device Manager before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

This is a virtual adapter, so it may stay hidden until the Network Connect service starts or a VPN connection is attempted. Check Device Manager with “Show hidden devices,” verify the Juniper service is running, then reinstall the client.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Old Network Connect drivers can conflict with newer Pulse/Juniper clients, causing duplicate adapters or Code 10/31 errors. Uninstall all Juniper/Pulse clients, remove ghost adapters, reboot, and install one supported client version.
