Name: Jolimark FP 8800K Driver
Author: Jolimark

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Jolimark FP 8800K setup as administrator and try Windows compatibility mode for older versions. If Windows blocks the driver, use the latest signed package; for unsigned legacy drivers, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the FP 8800K before installing, check the USB/parallel cable and selected port, and avoid unsupported USB-to-parallel adapters. In Printer properties, set the correct port (e.g., USB001 or LPT1) and print a self-test.

Question 3

Version conflicts/duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Jolimark FP 8800K drivers and print queues, restart the Print Spooler service, then install only the latest driver. Keep one queue to prevent jobs going to a stale driver.
