Author: JetWay

Question 1

Chipset driver install fails on newer Windows?

Accepted Answer

The AMD A55 package is older; run the JetWay/AMD setup in Windows 7 compatibility mode and install the chipset driver before audio/LAN drivers. If setup still aborts, use Device Manager to update missing SMBus/PCI entries manually.

Question 2

Onboard devices not detected (LAN/audio/USB/SATA)?

Accepted Answer

Check BIOS for disabled onboard peripherals, load optimized defaults, and confirm the A55 chipset driver is installed; Windows may otherwise show unknown devices.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Realtek audio/LAN and AMD AHCI/chipset drivers before installing the matching JetWay package. Avoid mixing Windows Update and vendor drivers; reboot between changes.
