Name: JetWay TA55M2 Driver
Author: JetWay

Question 1

Chipset installer fails or exits early?

Accepted Answer

The TA55M2 uses AMD A55/FM1-era drivers that often reject Windows 10/11. Run setup as administrator in Windows 7/8 compatibility mode, or install the AMD A55 chipset driver manually via Device Manager before LAN/audio drivers.

Question 2

LAN/audio device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the onboard Realtek/AMD devices are enabled in BIOS. Install the AMD chipset driver first and reboot; Windows may not expose the TA55M2’s NIC or audio until the chipset INF is present.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows Update?

Accepted Answer

Generic AMD/Realtek drivers can overwrite JetWay packages, causing drops or Code 10/43 errors. Roll back in Device Manager, reinstall the TA55M2-specific driver, and pause automatic driver updates.
