Question 1

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a direct rear USB port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check Sound, video and game controllers and USB Controllers; uninstall the Jabra LINK 320/USB audio device, reconnect, and let Windows reinstall it. Test on another PC.

Question 2

Install or firmware update fails?

Accepted Answer

Close Jabra Direct/Jabra Suite and any softphone apps, run the installer/updater as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Use the latest Jabra Direct from Jabra, not a third-party driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Jabra Direct/Suite and stale USB audio drivers, reboot, then install the current Jabra Direct and update the LINK 320 firmware. Set it as the default playback/recording device in Windows and your softphone.
