Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Extreme2, close Jabra Direct and Windows Bluetooth settings, then run the installer as administrator and reboot before retrying. Stop any older Jabra software running in the background.

Question 2

Headset not detected?

Accepted Answer

Put the Extreme2 in pairing mode (hold the multifunction button until the LED flashes), enable Bluetooth, and add it in Windows. Check the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager, remove stale “Jabra Extreme2” entries, and pair again.

Question 3

Version conflicts or audio dropouts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Jabra/Bluetooth drivers and duplicate headset entries, reboot, then install the current Jabra-supported software. Set the Extreme2 as default playback/recording device and disable exclusive-mode takeover if calls route incorrectly.
