Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the NB131 driver installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and confirm the package matches your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture. Install chipset/INF drivers before touchpad, Wi-Fi, or audio drivers.

Question 2

Device not detected after install?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes and check for Unknown device or yellow warning icons. Reboot, then reinstall the exact NB131 driver; for touchpad, camera, or Wi-Fi, also verify the device is enabled in BIOS/UEFI.

Question 3

Version conflicts or crashes?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the old OEM driver via Apps or Device Manager (“Uninstall device” with “Delete driver software”), reboot, then install the NB131 package. Avoid mixing generic Windows Update drivers with vendor drivers.
