Name: Iomega used on NEC FZ110A Driver
Author: Iomega

Question 1

Driver install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Iomega setup as Administrator, use Windows 7 compatibility mode, and install the matching FZ110A/Zip 100 driver package. Temporarily disable driver signature enforcement only during installation if Windows blocks the legacy driver.

Question 2

Drive not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the IDE/ATAPI cable and power connection, check that BIOS detects the drive, and set the master/slave jumper correctly. In Device Manager, rescan hardware; avoid mixing with another Zip drive on the same controller.

Question 3

Version conflicts or Code 10/31 errors?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall newer IomegaWare and any built-in Zip driver, remove ghost devices, reboot, then install one matching driver version. Do not mix 100MB and 250MB driver packages.
