Name: Iomega USB Zip 100 Driver
Author: Iomega

Question 1

Install fails or driver is rejected?

Accepted Answer

The USB Zip 100 uses legacy unsigned Iomega drivers. Run the installer as administrator in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP/2000, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement if Windows blocks it. Confirm 32-bit vs. 64-bit matches.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a direct rear USB port, a known-good cable, and a powered hub; enable Legacy USB support in BIOS. Check Device Manager and Disk Management for an unknown device or drive letter conflict.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older IomegaWare/Zip drivers and hidden USB devices first, reboot, then install only one driver package matching your Windows version. Do not mix USB and parallel Zip drivers.
