Name: Iomega ScreenPlay TV Link Driver
Author: Iomega

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Iomega setup as administrator and use Windows compatibility mode for Windows 7/8. If Windows blocks an unsigned driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, reboot, then reconnect the ScreenPlay TV Link.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the TV Link directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. Set the player to USB/PC mode rather than TV/standby, try a known-good USB cable, and check Device Manager for unknown or portable devices.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Iomega ScreenPlay software/drivers and remove hidden devices in Device Manager. Reboot before installing the latest package, and avoid mixing legacy ScreenPlay utilities with newer Windows media components.
