Name: Intermec PM43c (203 dpi) DP Driver
Author: Intermec

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Intermec driver package as administrator and match the Windows architecture. Remove existing Intermec PM-series or generic label-printer drivers first, reboot, then reinstall the PM43c 203 dpi DP driver.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the PM43c is powered and set to the correct DP emulation. For USB, use a direct rear-port connection and try another cable; for Ethernet, verify IP/subnet and ping the printer. Add a TCP/IP port manually if auto-discovery fails.

Question 3

Version/port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Stale Intermec drivers or wrong port assignments can cause failed or garbled jobs. In Print Management, delete old PM43c queues and driver packages, reinstall the current 203 dpi driver, and assign the correct USB or TCP/IP port.
