Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Intermec/Honeywell PC43t installer as administrator, close other printer software, and match the driver to your Windows version. If setup stalls, remove any partial PC43t printer queue, reboot, and reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the thermal label printer is powered and Ready, use a direct USB port instead of a hub, and select the correct USB/Serial/Ethernet port. For Ethernet, verify the printer’s IP address and network settings.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Intermec or Honeywell printer drivers and delete stale ports, then reboot. Install the latest PC43t 203 dpi driver; avoid mixing it with a generic Windows label-printer driver.
