Question 1

Install fails or driver is rejected?

Accepted Answer

These ITeX ADSL PCI drivers are old and often unsigned on Windows 7–11. Run the installer as Administrator in compatibility mode for XP/Vista, or use Device Manager > Update driver > Browse > Let me pick > Have Disk and point to the correct .inf. Disable driver signature enforcement only for testing, then re-enable.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the PCI card and try another slot; confirm it appears in Device Manager as an unknown/network device. Enable the PCI slot in BIOS, disable unused onboard NICs if needed, then scan for hardware changes.

Question 3

Version/IRQ conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any previous ITeX/ADSL WAN miniport and reboot before installing one matching package. Check Device Manager for IRQ/resource conflicts; avoid mixing 32-bit INF with 64-bit Windows.
