Author: InfoPrint

Question 1

Installation fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Pro 907EX driver package as administrator, match the Windows 32/64-bit version, and clear pending print jobs. If setup stops at port creation, remove the failed printer entry and restart the Print Spooler service before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the Pro 907EX is powered on and connected by Ethernet or USB. For network use, assign a static IP and add a Standard TCP/IP port manually; for USB, try a rear port and a known-good cable. Restart the printer and PC.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older InfoPrint or generic PostScript drivers, remove leftover queues in Print Management, then install the current Pro 907EX package. Avoid mixing PCL and PostScript drivers on the same queue; use one driver per queue.
