Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the iBT68m is charged and in pairing mode, enable Bluetooth in Windows, and run any vendor installer as administrator. Most hands-free functions use Windows’ built-in Bluetooth audio driver, so avoid unrelated driver bundles.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Remove the iBT68m from Settings > Bluetooth & devices, toggle Bluetooth off/on, re-pair within range, and check Device Manager for a disabled or warning-marked Bluetooth adapter. Reset the speaker’s pairing memory if available.

Question 3

Version/audio conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If it pairs but calls or playback fail, remove stale duplicate entries, update the PC’s Bluetooth adapter driver from the PC maker, and set the iBT68m as default playback/communications device. Disable “Hands-Free Telephony” if only high-quality audio is needed.
