Name: IDville ID Maker Driver
Author: IDville

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the ID Maker, run the driver installer as administrator, and remove old IDville/ID-card printer entries in Devices and Printers before rebooting and reconnecting USB only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port and a known-good cable—not a hub. Power-cycle the ID Maker, check Device Manager for an unknown USB/printing device, then reinstall the driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older ID Maker drivers, delete duplicate printer queues, and install the package matching your Windows version and card printer model. Restart the print spooler afterward.
