Name: Ideazon Merc Stealth MM USB Human Interface Device Driver
Author: Ideazon

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The Ideazon package is old and may need elevated privileges or compatibility mode. Run it as administrator, try Windows 7 compatibility, and if needed extract the INF and update the driver manually via Device Manager.

Question 2

Keyboard not detected or only basic keys work?

Accepted Answer

Connect the Merc Stealth MM directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. In Device Manager, uninstall stale “HID Keyboard Device” and “USB Human Interface Device” entries, including hidden ones, then rescan.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicated input?

Accepted Answer

Remove any older Ideazon/Merc software and avoid installing multiple driver versions. Delete the device in Device Manager, reboot, then install one package only; Windows’ inbox HID driver is sufficient for basic keyboard function.
