Question 1

Install fails or “driver not found”?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the package matches Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture for the x3200 M2 4368K3G. IBM server packages often target specific OS releases; using a newer Windows version may require a signed equivalent or manual INF install.

Question 2

Storage/RAID device not detected?

Accepted Answer

During Windows setup, load the correct IBM ServeRAID/SAS controller driver from USB or floppy. Also verify RAID is enabled and the array is configured in the controller BIOS before installation.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows Update?

Accepted Answer

Windows Update may replace IBM chipset/NIC/RAID drivers with generic versions. Uninstall the generic driver, install the IBM package first, then block automatic driver updates or roll back the device driver if needed.
