Name: IBM NetVista personal computer (8303SAU) Driver
Author: IBM

Question 1

Install fails on newer Windows?

Accepted Answer

IBM NetVista 8303SAU drivers are often unsigned or use legacy installers. Install the `.inf` manually via Device Manager, or use a Windows XP/2000 virtual machine.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm onboard audio, LAN, and USB are enabled in BIOS, then install the IBM chipset/INF package before peripheral drivers.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Generic Windows drivers can override IBM-specific ones. Roll back or uninstall the generic device driver, then reinstall the correct 8303SAU package; avoid third-party driver updaters.
