Name: Huawei Mobile Connect Network Card Driver
Author: Huawei

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Huawei Mobile Connect card, uninstall any existing Huawei Mobile Connect/modem drivers in Device Manager, run the installer as administrator, reboot, then reconnect the card.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port directly on the PC, not a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown devices or yellow warnings; if present, update the driver manually and confirm the card appears under Network adapters or Modems.

Question 3

Version conflicts or dropped connections?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate Huawei Mobile Connect entries in Device Manager, install only one driver package matching your Windows version and architecture, temporarily pause automatic driver updates, then reboot.
