Name: Huawei eMMC Storage USB Device Driver
Author: Huawei

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Huawei driver installer as administrator and match it to your Windows architecture. If Windows blocks it, open Device Manager, remove any unsigned/incompatible Huawei eMMC Storage USB Device entry, reboot, and reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the eMMC storage device is in USB storage mode, not charge-only. Try a known-good data cable and a rear USB port, then check Disk Management and Device Manager for an unknown USB device. Reinstall the USB Mass Storage driver if needed.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Huawei HiSuite/USB drivers and hidden device entries before installing the current package. If conflicts persist, roll back or temporarily use Windows’ generic USB Mass Storage driver, then retest.
