Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the VIDBOX NW06 USB video capture device, run the driver/software installer as administrator, and allow the signed driver if Windows SmartScreen prompts. Reboot before reconnecting.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a rear USB 2.0 port directly on the PC—no hub—and reseat both cable ends. Check Device Manager for an unknown imaging/video device, then reconnect after the driver install finishes.

Question 3

Version conflicts or capture software can’t see it?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older VIDBOX/capture drivers and bundled software, reboot, then install the current package. Remove any grayed-out VIDBOX entries in Device Manager before reconnecting.
