Name: HORI REAL ARCADE PRO EX Driver
Author: Hori

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

The HORI REAL ARCADE PRO EX is normally detected as an Xbox 360 controller. Use the official Microsoft Xbox 360 controller driver, run any installer as administrator, and reboot. Avoid installing generic HID/arcade-stick drivers alongside it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the stick directly into a rear USB port, not a hub or front-panel extension. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown device” or an Xbox 360 Peripherals entry; try another PC/cable if nothing appears.

Question 3

Version/controller conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If Windows shows duplicate Xbox 360 controller entries or games ignore the stick, uninstall old Xbox 360 controller/HID entries, reboot, and let Windows reinstall the current driver. In emulators, select XInput rather than DirectInput.
