Name: Honeywell Voyager 9520 Driver
Author: Honeywell

Question 1

Install fails or scanner not recognized after setup?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator, disconnect other Honeywell scanners, and reboot before reinstalling. For USB models, confirm the Voyager 9520 is set to the correct USB mode—HID keyboard or USB serial—by scanning the appropriate configuration barcode.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port/cable, avoid unpowered hubs, and power-cycle the scanner. If using USB serial, install the Honeywell virtual COM port driver and check Device Manager for a COM port or HID keyboard device.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate devices?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Honeywell/EZConfig or COM-port drivers, remove hidden devices in Device Manager, then install the latest Voyager 9520 package. Reset the scanner to factory defaults if configuration mismatches persist.
