Author: Holm

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the HOLM DSPre, run the 1.10 setup as Administrator, and check Windows Installer/Driver Signature logs. If Windows blocks the driver, allow the signed HOLM package, reboot, then reconnect.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port (no hub), try a known-good cable, and confirm DSPre appears in Device Manager. If it shows as unknown, uninstall it, rescan, and reinstall 1.10.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older HOLM DSPre/DSP control software and drivers first, reboot, then install 1.10. Match the DSPre firmware to 1.10; update firmware first if needed.
