Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the p510 Series USB cable before running the HiTi installer. Remove older HiTi Photo Printer entries in Device Manager, restart, run setup as administrator, then connect the printer only when prompted.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port, not a hub. Confirm the p510 is powered on and ready. Try a known-good USB cable; if Windows shows an unknown device, reinstall the HiTi USB driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or wrong print sizes?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous HiTi p510 drivers and clear leftover print queues in Print Management. Install the driver matching your Windows version, set the p510 as default, and select the correct photo paper size in printing preferences.
