Name: HiTi Photo Printer 730 Series Driver
Author: HiTi

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the HiTi 730, remove any existing HiTi printer entries in Print Management, then run the driver installer as Administrator. Use the correct 32/64-bit package for your Windows version and reboot before reconnecting.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the printer, use a direct USB 2.0 port instead of a hub, and try a known-good USB cable. Check Device Manager for unknown devices; reinstall the driver if Windows assigned a generic USB/printing driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows update?

Accepted Answer

Windows may replace the HiTi driver with a generic one. Remove the old driver via Print Server Properties, reinstall the 730 Series driver, and set the correct photo paper/ribbon size in printing preferences.
