Author: HiTi

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the HiTi CS 200e USB cable until the installer prompts you. Run the driver setup as administrator, close card-printing software, and remove any older HiTi CS 200e software before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the CS 200e directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. Power-cycle the card printer, try a known-good USB cable, then check Device Manager for unknown devices and reinstall the driver.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall all existing HiTi CS 200e/CS200 drivers and card-printer utilities, restart Windows, then install the correct driver for your OS and printer revision. Avoid letting Windows Update install a generic USB printer driver.
