Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Hi Speed USB DVD Creator, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. If setup still fails, uninstall older optical-drive drivers and reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a rear USB port or powered hub; avoid unpowered hubs. Check Device Manager for unknown or optical-device entries, update USB/chipset drivers, and test another USB cable.

Question 3

Version conflicts or burning errors?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate DVD/CD-ROM driver entries in Device Manager, install the vendor driver matching your Windows version, and reboot. Use compatible media and burning software, and avoid mixing old and new driver packages.
