Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the DJ Control Air, close DJ software, and run the Hercules ASIO installer as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus and reboot before reconnecting the controller.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown USB/audio devices, reinstall the driver, then select the Hercules ASIO device in your DJ software’s audio settings.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Hercules/ASIO drivers first and reboot. Avoid running ASIO4ALL alongside the Hercules ASIO driver, and make sure your DJ software is set to the Hercules DJ Control Air ASIO device, not a generic Windows audio driver.
