Name: Hercules DJ Console 4 Mx Driver
Author: Hercules

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Hercules installer as Administrator, disconnect the DJ Console 4 Mx until prompted, and temporarily disable antivirus. On newer Windows, try compatibility mode for Windows 7/8.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Try a different cable/port, check Device Manager for unknown devices, and install the driver before plugging in the controller.

Question 3

Version conflicts/audio problems?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Hercules DJ Console drivers and conflicting generic USB audio entries, reboot, then install only one driver version. Select the 4 Mx as the audio/ASIO device in your DJ software.
