Name: Headset (Razer Atrox Gaming Arcade Stick) Driver
Author: Razer

Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Atrox, run the Razer/Xbox 360 controller installer as administrator, and reboot before reconnecting. Remove older Razer Synapse/controller packages first.

Question 2

Device not detected or buttons dead?

Accepted Answer

Plug the stick directly into a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for “Xbox 360 Peripherals” or HID entries; reinstall the Xbox 360 controller driver via Windows Update. Verify the PC/Xbox mode switch if present.

Question 3

Version conflicts / wrong mappings?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall duplicate Xbox 360 controller and Razer entries, then install only the matching Atrox driver package. Avoid mixing third-party XInput wrappers; test in “Set up USB game controllers” after reboot.
