Name: Hauppauge WinTV PVR 250 350 Driver
Author: Hauppauge

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Hauppauge package as administrator and match it to your Windows architecture. For legacy PVR-250/350 drivers, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement during install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the PCI card and try another PCI slot. Check Device Manager for unknown/multimedia devices, confirm PCI is enabled in BIOS, then use “Scan for hardware changes.”

Question 3

Version conflicts or crashes?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old WinTV/Hauppauge drivers and third-party TV software first. Install only one PVR-250/350 driver package; avoid mixing PVR-150/250/350 drivers. Use Device Manager rollback or System Restore if the system becomes unstable.
