Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power off, reseat the PCIe card, and try another PCIe slot. Check Device Manager for an unknown multimedia device; install the HVR-2250 driver before configuring TV tuner software.

Version conflicts / tuner errors?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old WinTV and Hauppauge driver packages, remove hidden devices in Device Manager, reboot, then install the latest driver matching your Windows version. Avoid mixing driver versions from different WinTV releases.
