Name: Hauppauge WinTV Aero M Driver
Author: Hauppauge

Question 1

Installer fails or stops early?

Accepted Answer

Close WinTV and any TV apps, uninstall older Hauppauge software, then run the driver installer as administrator. Keep the Aero M unplugged until setup prompts for it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the USB DVB-T tuner directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for an unknown device or USB tuner entry, then reinstall the driver and reboot.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, uninstall the old Hauppauge driver and select “Delete driver software,” reboot, then install the matching 32/64-bit package. Do not stack multiple WinTV versions.
