Name: Hauppauge USB Live2 Driver
Author: Hauppauge

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Hauppauge setup as administrator, close WinTV/Media Center and antivirus, confirm you’re using the correct 32/64-bit package for your Windows version, then reboot and retry.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the USB Live2 directly into a powered USB 2.0 port—not a hub—and try another cable/port. Check Device Manager for an Unknown Device, then reinstall the Hauppauge driver with the tuner connected.

Question 3

Version conflicts or driver won’t start?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old WinTV and Hauppauge drivers via Apps & Features and Device Manager, remove hidden devices, reboot, then install the latest package before reconnecting the tuner.
