Name: Gravis GamePad Pro (GamePort) Driver
Author: Gravis

Question 1

Install fails on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The Gravis GamePad Pro GamePort driver is legacy and often unsigned/32-bit. Try compatibility mode, a 32-bit Windows VM, or a signed third-party gameport driver; don’t force-install unsigned drivers on 64-bit Windows.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the gameport is enabled in BIOS/Device Manager and that the pad is connected before boot. If the PC has no gameport, use a known-working gameport-to-USB adapter.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Gravis and generic gameport entries in Device Manager and “Game Controllers,” then reinstall only one driver. Recalibrate in the game controllers control panel after reinstalling.
