Name: Graphtec JX1130 1060 Driver
Author: Graphtec

Question 1

Install fails or Windows rejects the driver?

Accepted Answer

The JX1130-1060 uses legacy plotter drivers. Run the Graphtec installer as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode; if Windows blocks the driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the plotter is in the correct interface mode and connect it directly to the PC with a known-good USB/serial cable—not through a hub. For serial, select the correct COM port and match baud/flow settings; power-cycle both plotter and PC.

Question 3

Version or port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Graphtec plotter drivers and cutting software before installing the new package. Keep one driver version, set the JX1130-1060 as the default plotter, and verify the software port matches Windows Device Manager.
