Name: Graphtec Graphtec FC4100 Driver
Author: Graphtec

Question 1

Driver install fails on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The FC4100 uses legacy driver packages. Run the installer as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode; if Windows blocks it, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then reinstall and re-enable it.

Question 2

Plotter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the FC4100 is powered on and connected via the correct serial/parallel port. In the Graphtec driver, select the actual COM/LPT port and match the plotter’s baud rate/parity; test with a known-good cable.

Question 3

Version/port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Graphtec drivers and unused COM/LPT ports in Device Manager before installing. Use the FC4100 package matching Windows architecture, and avoid mixing drivers from other Graphtec cutter models.
