Name: Gestetner Aficio 5560 Driver
Author: Gestetner

Question 1

Installation fails on newer Windows?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator and use the Gestetner Aficio 5560 PCL6 or PostScript package, not a generic Ricoh driver. If blocked as legacy/unsigned, use Add Printer > Have Disk with the extracted INF.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Set a static IP on the 5560, confirm it responds to ping, and create a Standard TCP/IP port with that IP instead of WSD. Check subnet/firewall access; for USB, use a rear port and known-good cable.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Gestetner/Ricoh/RPCS queues and drivers, stop the print spooler, clear stuck jobs, then reinstall the matching PCL6 or PS driver. Do not mix PCL and PS on the same queue.
