Name: Gestetner Aficio 3260C Driver
Author: Gestetner

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Extract the driver package before running Setup, then right-click and select Run as administrator. If Windows blocks the older Gestetner/Ricoh driver, try compatibility mode for the Windows version it was signed for and temporarily disable antivirus during installation.

Question 2

Device not detected (network)?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the Aficio 3260C has a static IP, ping it from the PC, and create a Standard TCP/IP port using that address. For USB, connect directly to a rear port with a known-good cable; avoid hubs.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Gestetner/Ricoh printer entries and old PCL/PS drivers in Print Server Properties, clear the print queue, restart the Print Spooler service, then install only one driver package.
