Question 1

Install fails or stops partway?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Gestetner/Ricoh print queue and driver package in Print Management, run the installer as administrator, reboot, then reinstall the matching PCL driver for your Windows version.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is online, use the correct USB port or TCP/IP address, and for network models add a Standard TCP/IP port manually. Verify the PC and printer are on the same subnet.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Delete old or universal Gestetner drivers before installing, clear the print spooler, and avoid mixing PCL5/PCL6 queues for the same 3222. Set the new PCL queue as default.
